The line keeps making.
Karen learned to knit at five, on needles her father sanded out of roast beef skewers. Two generations later her granddaughter Honey builds with her own hands and her own ideas.
Honey makes nappy cakes: tiers of rolled nappies dressed in ribbon and roses for the day a baby is welcomed, with a teddy on the tier and the baby’s own name spelled out in wooden letters if you want it. The centrepiece of the shower, and every part of it gets used afterwards. She builds them as trikes too, with a teddy in the saddle.
Same thread as the rest of this shop. Made once, by hand, for someone small.
