Get in touch

Ask Karen.

About a piece you like, a size you need, or having something made for a baby who is on the way.

How it works

One message, straight to the person who made it.

No cart, no checkout, no account to set up. You send a message, Karen answers it herself, and the two of you sort out the size, the colour and when it can be ready.

1

Tell her which piece

The name from the shop page is enough. If you want it in a different colour or size, say so.

2

She tells you the price and the wait

Every piece is one of a kind. If the one you liked has gone, she will tell you how long a new one takes.

3

She makes it

By hand, at home in Robina. You will know when it is finished because she will tell you.

Who you are talking to

Four of us, and two of us make it.

Karen knits and crochets every piece. Her granddaughter Honey builds the nappy cakes and trikes. The two sons run everything around them. Any one of us will answer you.

The third generation

Honey

Karen’s granddaughter. She builds the nappy cakes and the trikes, every one to order. Tell her the baby’s name and the colours.

What we will not do

Your details stay yours.

No list

There is no newsletter and no mailing list. Message her about a cardigan and that is the end of it.

No tracking

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and does not follow you anywhere.

No middleman

You are talking to the woman who made the thing, not a shop assistant and not a bot.

Where she is

Robina, Queensland.

Everything is made in one house on the Gold Coast, and posted from there. The family came from the Marlborough Sounds in New Zealand, which is where the shop gets its name, but nothing ships from there.

No street address is published here. Ask and she will tell you what you need for postage.
